Good luck getting downtown...

If you're a bus rider, it's going to be a bit tricky to get in or out of St. Paul.
Metro Transit has suspended transportation in downtown St. Paul and no buses will go in or out until downtown is clear.
Buses will not operate east of Rice, south of University, north of Kellogg, or west of Lafayette.
People who are already downtown can walk outside that area to catch buses, but they'll be running on a holiday schedule -- and that means buses will come about once an hour.
If you're driving, it may be a little easier, but not much. MnDOT says that roads are open as usual, but one of our reporters who was trying to drive downtown said that it was slow-going and that some streets had been forced to close due to the splinter protests that have broken off from the main route.
