The Rite of Appalachian Spring

Today is the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky's ballet "The Rite of Spring."
October 30, 2044 is the 100th anniversary of Copland's ballet "Appalachian Spring."

I'm glad that musical genius Michael Monroe didn't make us wait 31 years to combine them into one beautiful, brilliant spring mashup:

Wonderful!!! I heard it in the background this morning, but had to wait until evening to play the clip where I could concentrate. I especially love the illustration jumping around with orchestral accents!!

Many listeners of the old Morning Show will know the Minnesota singer/songwriter Michael Monroe, however, as this gentleman points out on his blog, he is a different musician. Thanks to both of them for their artistry.
