From "Christmas Under Fire," a 1940 British newsreel documentary, and evergreen for every year.

The boys sing at 7:40, but the entire thing is wonderful and touching if you have a few minutes to pause and reflect on your blessings for Christmas Eve. Peace on Earth:
'Christmas Under Fire' truly puts things in perspective regarding how blessed I am along with many other in our country. Excluding the bombing of Pearl Harbor and attack on World Trade Centers (which were tragedies in their own right), we've never had an ongoing war fought on our soil since the Civil War. We have so much for which to be thankful.
Thank you for sharing this piece today and for your wonderful work and commentary every morning on Minnesota's Classical Public Radio! May you and your loved ones have a Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year!
