The Rose Ensemble made the second stop of their Greater Minnesota tour in Thief River Falls on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.

Today's audio postcard includes the sentiments of some of the ensemble musicians regarding the educational component of the tour.

After putting on two educational programs during the day, The Rose Ensemble's Songs of Temperance and Temptation was performed for a very enthusiastic audience. The tour continues in Bemidji on November 3rd.

The Rose Ensemble parties on stage to The Moonshiner's Dance part 1, inspiring audience members to party in their seats during this throwback to the Roaring Twenties era.

A lecture-demonstration presented by The Rose Ensemble at Franklin Middle School had students engaged in an exploration of early American music.
