Our intern Sam Kjellberg cornered me in the library yesterday after I played a "first listen" from Nico Muhly's new disc and said, "Alison, you just HAVE to hear this cool electronic piece by Nico! It shows his ability and desire to reach out to an audience outside the typical "classical" realm. Bridging the gap! Imagine hearing this nice piece and researching the composer back to some of his other "classical" pieces, perhaps making that listening more open to listening to his other repertoire!"
Sam is right on. You'll love it and it puts you into another realm.
