On today's Performance Today, it's the first in a new monthly series "Music that Matters."
Fred brings us a story about the Reverie Harp. It's an instrument that anyone can pick up and play beautifully with no practice or musical skill. (How about that?!)
It's now being used in hospice and therapeutic settings - and it just happens to be made in Minnesota!
Wonderfully interesting! I passed by their shop when walking in downtown Stillwater last summer and it's pretty cool to see you featuring this instrument on your show.
I am also quite taken by how accessible it is as an instrument - seems easy to play and produces such beautiful sounds without requiring much effort - a perfect introduction to anyone attempting to play a stringed instrument for the first item. Thank you for posting a video of this! I want everyone to have one!
