Here's a note from the website of conductor Leonard Slatkin, about "change in the air" at the Detroit Symphony.

It dates from September 23--but there's more than a whiff of April 1 here . . .

Very funny. It did get me laughing but he had me going on a couple of his jokes. Some "ironically challenged" people might not think he was being funny but hopefully, these are the kind of people who would never go to a concert of classical music anyway.
