R. I. P. Maurice Jarre

Maurice Jarre has died-=- the film composer whose most famous soundtracks are the ones for "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Doctor Zhivago."

Of many obituaries, the one in London's Telegraph stands out with a wealth of anecdotes and detail. With no disrespect, it's not every day that a single obituary includes Aram Khachaturian, Pierre Boulez, Sophia Loren, and 35 balalaika players.
