Una Furtiva Chihuahua

Perhaps the Los Angeles Opera, the Met, and other great opera houses around the world don't keep him busy enough.

Imagine my surprise in the movie theater last night when tenor Placido Domingo's name appeared in the opening credits for Beverly Hills Chihuahua. (That's right, I saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Got a problem with that?) Turns out Maestro Domingo is the voice of the leader of a Chihuahua Pride group that the heroine stumbles across.

Why did he do it? To get points with the grandkids, of course:

And how was the film itself? Well, not nearly as entertaining as the trailer:
