Thanks to Valerie Kahler for passing this along. It's a tongue-in-cheek piece from Salon.com's Andrew Leonard about Korean interpretation's of Pachelbel's Canon, complete with illustrative videos.
Yeah, the canon does seem popular there.
There's this classic Korean movie call "My Sassy Girl" - one of the memorable scenes in it involves a girl playing Pachebel’s Canon on the piano. The movie is pretty well known all throughout Asia, and it’s one of my favorites. It’s like the ‘Titanic’ of Asian movies.
