A critic's fears for the future

Writing in The Wall Street Journal, critic Terry Teachout makes mention of the Star Tribune's recent decision to do without a full-time classical music critic. Unlike many of his colleagues, Teachout holds out some hope for the Web as a source of criticism but he isn't ready to stack bloggers up against full-time newspaper writers.
It's worth a look.
