The big Mozart year continues, at least for a few more weeks. Did you know he was not only a composer, but an author? Not in the professional sense, but his letters to his family are fascinating reading, not just for historical reasons, but because they show a lively, individual writer at work.
On a couple occasions, he wrote -- started to write -- plays, of all things. "The Test of Love" is too long for this blog, but my humble contribution to Mozart 250 can be found here.
