I hear that some of the department stores already have their red and green trim out for Christmas shopping. . . . Well, strange as it feels, I’m sitting here listening to a bunch of Christmas discs, trying to get a leg up on December programming.
When the holidays finally roll around, I’m sure we’ll be playing “Silent Night” and “Joy to the World,” but I’m actually more drawn to some of the second-tier pieces (in popularity, I mean): “Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day,” “Past Three O’Clock,” “The Happy Christmas Comes Once More – you get the idea.
Anyone sufficiently in the holiday spirit to put in a plug for personal favorites – second-tier or otherwise?
