As you might expect, the State Patrol's been pretty active today helping drivers across the state. Happily, none of the crashes so far have been serious.

The patrol just posted some photos on its Facebook page.

MSP Troopers responded to a car fire on Hwy 25 south of Brainerd. The car stalled and the driver was able to get out safely before the fire.

Here's the official count of the morning rush.

Statewide
• 94 Crashes (eight reported injuries, none serious or fatal)
• 202 vehicles off the road/vehicle spin-outs
• Three jackknifed semis
Metro
• 73 Crashes (six reported injuries, none serious or fatal)
• 139 vehicles off the road/vehicle spin-outs
• Two jackknifed semis

"Many of the crashes and spin-outs we've seen are the result of people driving too fast," the patrol said.
