Monday Morning Manager: The Superstition Edition

Dear Nick Blackburn,

I am sorry.

Basically, it's my fault that he moved up the list of Twins players most likely to be voted "Most Likely to Be a Hockey Player" in the 2009 Twins yearbook.

I was watching yesterday's Twins-Yankees game with my father and in the course of talking about Twins pitchers I asked him if he'd seen the video of Pat Neshek taking a line drive to the face in college.

Just as the video finished playing, Bobby Abreu's line drive sent Blackburn flailing to the ground.

Clearly, I had unleashed a jinx.

Baseball is a superstitious sport, and you can pretty much bet that I won't ever look at a YouTube video again while watching the Twins on TV — just one more step closer to becomming an armchair Turk Wendell.

With that in mind, have you developed any armchair superstitions while watching the game?

Speaking of, ol' Turk is apparently hocking honey these days.
