The American League Golden Glove awards are out, and they're full of non-surprises. Especially unsurprising is the selection of Torii Hunter as the best defensive center fielder for the sixth straight year. Torii didn't necessarily have the strongest defensive stats among center fielders, but who's got time for numbers? He's still the player you least want to hit a long fly towards, and having to play a game in constant fear of having your home run robbed on a leaping catch at the wall counts for a lot. Congratulations, Torii!
