We all know the Twins are down 0-2 to Oakland and their dream season is on the brink of ending unceremoniously. Have you given up all hope of a comeback? Do they have a chance?
I say yes! They've fought back from too much and beaten too many odds to go down like this. Radke comes up big in Game 3, Johan shuts 'em down in Game 4 and they piece together a victory in Game 5.
Am I onto something here or has the ghost of Sid Hartman taken over my brain? You decide.
Maybe they just needed to be in a hole? That's the position they've been in all year, so maybe that's where they need to be to win.
I think they need a little fire under them to get going. As far as the first game goes, I thought it might be good for them not to win when Johan pitched. I thought maybe it'll show them that just because he's pitching, doesn't mean they don't have to hit the ball.
Now I'm a little nervous, but still optimistic.
GO TWINS!!!!
Either way, I'm looking forward to breathing again tomorrow.
All I can say is "Go WILD!". Either way, if and when the Twins season ends, we have a great hockey team to cheer on.
