It's already starting to be promoted during Twins games, but you may want to take this time to mark your calendar in case you forgot: The August 10 home game against the Toronto Blue Jays is Joe Mauer Sideburn Night, where the first 10,000 lucky fans will receive a pair of replica Joe Mauer sideburns that you can wear.
No word yet on whether the entrants of Batgirl's First Annual Joe Mauer Sideburn Contest will just keep their real ones for 12 more days so they won't need the replicas.
