Just like that Harold Reynolds is off the ESPN airwaves. The network unceremoniously dumped the longtime commentator today with no explanation. My last memory of Reynolds, an ESPN employee since 1996, is of him arguing with John Kruk on Sunday that Alex Rodriguez should be traded. Kruk was getting very annoyed. As self-serving and superficial as he could be, I have to admit I am going to miss HR...at least a little bit.

Does anyone know what happened to Harold Reynolds ?...when John Kruk joined ESPN a couple of years ago, The guy didnt even own a suit. Now with Reynolds gone, and Peter Gammons out indefinately, John Kruk is the senior analyst on Baseball tonight. The only thing I can think of, is that maybe Harold got offered a manging or front office position with a club. Someone with his knowledge and baseball insight would be a welcome addition to most baseball teams. And anothet thought? Who will replace him?
