Pondering the trade deadline

The trade deadline is today at 3pm CST. We will, of course, let you know if anything major happens. We don't need to break down every single transaction, so it'll just be a judgment call. (For example: Sean Casey joining the Tigers is probably the smallest we'll go.)
Twins ponder whether to trade or stand pat
The Minnesota Twins have been on a hot streak lately, but just dropped two out of three games to the Detroit Tigers over the weekend.
The way some baseball fans see it, the Twins have a big decision to make. Some people think they should try to make a trade and acquire a superstar player to improve their chances of making it to the American League playoffs. But others say the team should leave well enough alone, and not risk trading away a good player in order to bring in new blood.
