Over the weekend

Over the weekend, the Twins lose a series to the Rangers, with the rubber match being lost on a walk-off ground ball. Sounds about right.
The Twins also dropped Joe Mays out of the rotation, sending Luis Rodriguez to AAA and bringing up Scott Baker, who will pitch against Kansas City tonight.
The bigger scheme of things, the Twins are now 5 1/2 games out of the wild card, with the teams above them (Yankees, Indians, and A's) not looking like they plan to give up any ground in the near future. Do the Twins still have a chance? Will the upcoming series against the Indians matter?
