Are they booing him?

Interesting tidbits I have learned about the Twins now-regular center fielder Lew Ford:


  1. Lew has hit 7 home runs this season so far. 6 of them have been 3-run homers.
  2. Apparently plays a mean game of Magic: The Gathering, a popular fantasy roleplaying/collectible card game. Word is that he plays until the wee hours of the night, and often meets up with groups of gameplayers all over the country on road trips. (I'm guessing his salary allows him to buy some decent cards.)

oooo...that batgirl is hoot...but everyone knows that the Amulet of Keen only gives +3 to intelligence.
