CANDIDATE STATEMENT
Tammy Lee is a respected professional in business, media and politics. For the past seven years, she has worked in the airline and tourism industry. Currently, she is the vice president of corporate affairs for a $2 billion privately-held vacation packaging and technology company, The Mark Travel Corp. Locally, they own TransGlobal Vacations. Prior to that, she was the managing director of corporate affairs for US Airways and, before that, vice president of marketing and corporate affairs for Sun Country Airlines. Politically, she was the communications director for Hubert H. "Skip" Humphrey's gubernatorial bid in 1998. Before that, she served as press secretary to U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan in Washington, D.C.

Lee had no competition in the 2006 September primary.
