Statement from the candidate:
I am a citizen who has become frustrated at the lack of representation that Kandiyohi County has seen. In a time when timing is everything, our government must know that acting in a professional manner and prudenant manner is mandatory! Our elected officials are adults who are elected, they must put aside their own personal agendas and work to protect, enhance and make our area secure for this generation and the next.

Our current representation is more about fulling personal obligations and satisfying special interest groups. Our country was not founded on special interest groups. We need to be attentive to our citizens and to make the best decisions possible.

Biography:
I was born and raised in Central Wisconsin on a dairy farm, where our family worked long and hard hours together. I attended parachoical grade school and public high school, went off to college but stopped to marry and start a family. I started my career as a Nurses Aide, but worked up to Department Manager of 2 medical departments. As a single mother of two for over 7 years I realized how to balance hectic schedules.

I moved to Willmar over 11 years ago and married my husband, Dr. Rob Kruger. We now have a blended family of five children and 2 grandchildren. I completed my college education at St. Cloud State Unversity with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. Current we have an empty nest. I worked as production manager at the Willmar Community (The Barn) Theatre for over 8 1/2 years and stepped down from that position to run for elected office.
