More About the Program:
Host Annie Baxter guides listeners through some of the most exciting literary work in the state. There's some non-fiction that might change your ideas of what it means to be Minnesotan. There are poems that will delight and beguile. The program's centerpiece is a radio adaptation of "The Winner," a short story by celebrated author Charles Baxter (no relation to Annie). "Writing Minnesota" is supported in part by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
More About Annie Baxter: Annie Baxter is an MPR reporter, fiction writer, and recipient of several state writing grants. Annie also has two M.A.s -- one in Rhetoric and one in Comparative Literature.
