“Sold a Story” wins prestigious duPont-Columbia Award

The groundbreaking investigative podcast “Sold a Story: How Teaching Kids to Read Went so Wrong” has been awarded a duPont-Columbia Award. The six-part series exposed a national literacy crisis and has led to calls for change in classrooms nationwide. Since the podcast, at least 15 states have changed laws regarding reading instruction.

American Public Media Group Announces Incoming Chief People and Culture Officer

American Public Media Group (APMG), including Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) and American Public Media (APM), announce Roycie Eppler will join the organization beginning Nov. 6 as its Chief People and Culture Officer. In this role, Eppler will develop and lead equity, inclusion, diversity and access (EIDA) strategy broadly across the organization as well as head up its human resources function.
