Madelyn Mahon is an assistant producer for MPR News' The Daily Circuit. Before joining MPR News in February 2012, Madelyn worked for NPR and Wisconsin Public Radio. Madelyn earned her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and her BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Inside Stillwater Prison, inmates are doing long, sometimes life sentences for murder, armed robbery, and other felonies.
