Jon Schober is the Local Music Assistant and Music Assistant at 89.3 The Current. He produces The Local Show with David Campbell, MPR's Local Current webstream and HD2 channel, contributes to Andrea Swensson's Local Current Blog and assists the music department in day-to-day activities. A native of North Texas, Jon moved to the Twin Cities to attend the University of Minnesota and quickly got involved with KUOM on the West Bank, serving as the station's Training Director, Music Director and Program Director.
