A Note from Brian Newhouse

Happy Holidays from all of us at Classical Minnesota Public Radio! We're glad you stopped by the website to explore our holiday offerings. We hope you find the music is a kind of companion for December, whether you're getting ready for and celebrating the holidays or simply looking for great music. We're working to find that sweet spot in what we offer on air — a balance that meets the needs of those in the holiday spirit, and those who cherish the beauty of our traditional classical music. If your tastes tend toward the latter, and you'd like a little lighter holiday touch, we've made our Classical 24 stream available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whichever your tastes, thanks for including Classical MPR in your life!

Tune in to Classical Minnesota Public Radio stations for these holiday specials listed below which feature Minnesota touches, including the Minnesota Orchestra's performance of Handel's Messiah, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra's performance of Berlioz's Childhood of Christ, and the Chanukah special Candles Burning Brightly with Classical Minnesota Public Radio hosts Bill Morelock and Mindy Ratner.

Seasonal specials are presented on Classical Minnesota Public Radio stations and stream unless noted otherwise.
